Why is my purchase request released from its assigned user after approval?

Answer

When a purchase request (or any other entity record in Alma) is going through a process (like approval and create a PO Line) the record is reassigned to the process itself in order to avoid locking.  When the process finishes it releases the record assignment.

The reason we cannot design it to remember the previous assignment is because there might be situations and workflows where more than one process is involved.
