    Browsers

    What browsers, and what versions of browsers are certified for Alma?

    As a true cloud solution, Alma requires only a browser for the end user. Alma is certified for all the leading browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Internet Explorer. There is an ongoing process of monitoring new browser versions and checking their compatibility with Alma.

    What display resolutions are required?

    As Alma is a fully browser-based system, it is possible to use the product on multiple devices due to its responsive design. For the optimized experience desktop, laptop, and tablet are the recommended devices.

    Does Alma rely on icons for navigation and information?

    Alma uses a limited set of icons to convey information but all icons have alternative texts or titles.

    Can Alma be used on mobile devices?

    Alma Mobile provides portability of Alma functions that align with your workflows using mobile phones and tablets. For example, Alma Mobile enables you to process Pick Up from Shelf (Fulfillment > Resource Requests > Pick from Shelf) requests directly from your mobile device.
