    Jisc KB+ dates changes

    The processes that are required to eliminate the erroneous date changes are still being investigated to confirm that there are no negative impacts on other justified changes.

    Due to the timeline, it appears the testing process will not be completed before KB+ platform will be discontinued in February 2024.

    We will work with Jisc to confirm the API setup for the next platform will be set up so that this error will not repeat.

     

    After reports on dates changing erroneously in KB+ collections, we began analyzing the pattern and frequency of these changes.

    Cooperating with Jisc, we came to learn that the setup of the API queries caused random changes in the coverage statements which were corrected soon after.

    We are working to reconfigure the API so that these changes will not happen again.

    As this requires some technical process and testing, this reconfiguration may take a while.
