    The Leganto Cite it! Bookmarking tool can be used to add web-based resources such as videos, books, articles and more to a Leganto list. The title, URL, and other details are harvested automatically. Once installed, for instructions, see Using Cite it!

    The option to install the Bookmarklet is available in a dedicated section on the Cite it! window.

    Chrome Browser Extension

    Cite it! is available as a Chrome browser extension. You can install it by searching for Leganto Cite it! Bookmarking Tool on the Chrome Extensions Web Store, or from https://chromewebstore.google.com/.

    To use Cite it! with Leganto:
    1. After adding Cite it! as a browser extension, right-click the Cite it! extension icon CiteIt extension icon., and select Options.
    2. If you have not already copied the institution info from Leganto, copy it from the Cite it installation page.
    3. Enter the Leganto URL for the extension and select Save. A confirmation is displayed indicating that the settings are saved.

      Once you have configured Cite it!, you can use it to add items to Leganto. Log in to Leganto (if you are not already logged in, you are prompted to do so), and select the Cite it! extension icon CiteIt extension icon. from the web page you want to add to Leganto. The Cite it! form is displayed with the reference's metadata.

    Edge Browser Extension

    Cite it! is available as an Edge browser extension. You can install it by searching for Leganto Cite it! Bookmarking Tool on the Microsoft Edge Add-on or from Leganto Cite it! Bookmarking Tool - Microsoft Edge Addons.

    To use Cite it! with Leganto:
    1. After adding Cite it! as a browser extension, right-click the Cite it! extension icon CiteIt extension icon., and select Options.
    2. If you have not already copied the institution info from Leganto, copy it from the Cite it installation page.
    3. Enter the Leganto URL for the extension and select Save. A confirmation is displayed indicating that the settings are saved.
