    Question

Our institution has a list of records that are different from other records, for example projects from students. We differentiate them based on a specific Alma field that contains a specific value. We need to display them separately, and as a list. Is it possible?

    Answer

No. It is not possible to display a list of records within Primo Out of the Box. However, it is possible to create a link that will search for specific keywords and apply specific facets or restrictions to the search. Alternatively you can apply filtering options we will detail below for Primo users to initiate a search and filter only the relevant results.

    You can use:

Pre-filters: In order to set this up, you may create a Search field through the Normalization Rules, based on the Alma field that is representing the Projects from students (or any other relevant group of records you need to separate). Then in Views Configuration configure the pre-filter, see documentation about the Primo New UI here.

Static Facets: through setting a Facet field based on the relevant Alma field. More information here.
