Configuring Property Flattening
Property flattening is relevant only for the institution level, not the consortium level.
You can select fields from the DNX to be fattened and put on the database so they can be accessible for reporting or other needs. You select the fields to flatten from Data Management > Advanced Tools > Property Flattening.
Property Flattening
Select the fields that you want to flatten from the right column. You can select up to 10 fields.
The flattening occurs during Commit to Permanent or when running a Populate Flattening Table task, which are available for the IE, representation, and file levels.
All extracted properties are accessible in the FLATTENED_PROPERTIES view of the RPT scheme.
