    Symptoms

    Analyzer Report Studio 8.X in Firefox gives error "404 - Not Found URL:cchl/res/promptLocale_en-US.xml".

    Defect Status

    Cognos 10.2.1 resolves issues with Firefox browser; VYG-4628 is resolved in Voyager 9.0.0 and higher.

    Replication steps

    1. Open Analyzer 8.x in Firefox.
    2. Choose namespace.
    3. Enter credentials.
    4. At IBM Cognos 8 screen, choose ?Create Professional Reports.?
    5. Select a package (allow pop-ups).
    6. Note message: Multi file request error: The web request failed.

    404 - Not Found
    URL: cchl/res/promptLocale_en-US.xml


    Workaround

    Use Internet Explorer.
