Authority record not found when do a headings search, why?

When searching headings, existing authority record not found - why?
Answer
Record is not marked for main or added entry use.
1. In the 008 of the Authority record, set "Heading Use - Main or Added Entry" to "a: Appropriate"
2. Save record to DB.
