    Question

We have a large number of items that were incorrectly discharged and have a status of "In Transit Discharged". Is it possible to upload a file of barcodes and correct the item status in one large batch?

    Answer

Pick and Scan cannot be used to upload a file of barcodes and globally change the status of these items, because Pick and Scan will not remove system-applied statuses.
To remove an item's In Transit status:

    1. Identify which policy definition the item's location belongs to
    2. Discharge item at a circulation happening location desk within that policy definition.

    Additional Information

If the item is In Transit On Hold, this action may place the item on the hold shelf if the request has not yet expired, so the hold could be removed before discharging the item.
