    Question

Can Permanent address and Email address both be updated using the same SIF patron record, or does each address need to be updated by separate records?

    Answer

A single SIF patron record can update up to 9 addresses. Specify how many address segments there will be in the base segment, and follow the base segment with the corresponding number of address segments.

    Additional Information

See Technical User's Guide chapter "Patron Record Standard Interface File" for SIF format definitions and parameters.
