    Question

Can we create a Course Reserves search box for a web page similar to what other sites do with the more generic OPAC search box?

    Answer

This is much more difficult to do for course reserves than for regular basic (generic) OPAC searches.  The course reserves form has drop-down lists containing all of the active instructors, departments and courses. These lists change frequently and are dynamically created in the Course Reserves tab in the WebVoyage OPAC.

A perl cgi script would perhaps work, but a programmer would be required to create it.

You may want to consult the Voyager Customer Listserv to find out if any other customers have done a project like this.
