    Question

    Do we need to upgrade Voyager in preparation for our migration to Alma?

    Answer

    No. You can migrate to Alma from any version of Voyager.  However, depending on your current version of Voyager and the type of data cleanup you will be doing prior to your migration, you might want to consider whether the current tools available (Global Data Change and Pick and Scan) will suit your needs, or if you want to upgrade Voyager to take advantage of enhancements. 

    Both GDC and Pick and Scan have been substantially improved over the years.
