    Question

    How are OCLC control numbers indexed in the Voyager BIB_INDEX table?

    Answer

    The OCLC control number is indexed in BIB_INDEX in two ways.

    • If index_code is 0350, normal_heading is “OCOLC 12345678”.
    • If index_code is 035A, normal_heading is “12345678”.
