How to set up override for Max Number Items Borrowed limit

Question
How can we check out items to a patron who has already reached their max number of items borrowed limit?
Answer
Operators can be allowed to override the limit in Circulation Security Profile settings. This will allow any/all operators linked to that Circulation Security Profile to override those patron blocks.
- Go to System Administration > Security > Circulation Profiles > [choose profile] > click Edit
- Go to the Patron Blocks tab
- Move the following blocks from "Available Patron Blocks" to "Operator May Override" column:
- Charged items limit
- Charged Items Limit for Item's Item Type
- Charged Items Limit for Policy Group for Item's Item Type
- Save
Operators who do not have override permission will see a "Supervisor ..." button when the block message appears.
- Click "Supervisor ..."
- Operator with override permission ("Supervisor") enters operator ID and password
- Supervisor may override block
