Is there a way to mass-populate a default PIN for patrons, such as using the last 4 digits of their phone number or barcode number, etc.?

Answer

Patron Pins can be populated using the XML Patron Update program, PpatronImpX, which is documented in the Technical User's Guide and uses the Patron Schema found on the Developer Network.

Additional Information
