    Problem Symptoms

Used "Do not run records through keyword index" for MFHD Data Change Job, but MFHD keyword files updated

    Cause

Working as designed. "Do not run records through keyword index" applies to bibliographic keyword indexing.

    Resolution

A documentation enhancement has been requested to clarify this behavior in the Global Data Change document.

    Additional Information

When GDC makes MFHD data changes, it exports a bib-mfhd interleaved file and uses this file to reimport the changed records. "Do not run records through keyword index" still applies to the bib records in these Data Change jobs - the MFHD keyword files will be updated, but the bib keyword files depend on the Keyword Indexing flag for the job.
