New tables not linked

Symptoms

In Client package downloaded with 8.2.0 client installer, Prepackaged reports is not linked to the new database tables.

Defect Status

Issue 16384-21554 / VYG-4638 is resolved in Voyager 9.0.0 and higher.

Replication steps

1. Download new clients.
2. Open the Reports.mdb which is provided by the installer
3. Show the hidden VoyagerTables table:
   1. Click Windows button
   2. Click Access Options button
   3. Click Current Database
   4. Click Navigation Options button
   5. Check Show Hidden Objects check box
   6. Click OK
4. Open VoyagerTables table.
5. Note tables missing: BIB_CARRIER, BIB_CONTENT, BIB_MEDIA, CONTROL_TABLE, LOGIN_AUDIT_TRAIL, OPERATOR_PASSWORD

Workaround

1. Open the Reports.mdb provided by the installer
2. Show the hidden VoyagerTables table:
   1. Click Windows button
   2. Click Access Options button
   3. Click Current Database
   4. Click Navigation Options button
   5. Check Show Hidden Objects check box
   6. OK
3. Open VoyagerTables table.
4. Add the table names as individual records in VoyagerTables.
5. Relink Reports.mdb.
