    Patron is unable to request via NCIP because of 'Max Items Borrowed for this Patron Group & Item Type' block

    Symptoms

    • Patron meets“Max Items Borrowed for this Patron Group & Item Type” block at matrix level.
    • Patron is unable to place requests via NCIP.
    • Defect Status

    Issue VYG-6973 is currently in Development

    Replication Steps

    1. SysAdmin > Circulation > Policy Definitions > Matrix > Max Items Borrowed for this Patron Group & Item Type
    2. Set limit for specific Patron Group & Item Type
    3. Charge enough items to meet limit for Patron Group & Item Type
    4. Try to login to Relais
    5. Patron is blocked from logging into Relais.
    6. Ncip traffic log shows Lookup User Response with <UserPrivilegeStatus> as blocked:
