    Symptoms

    Call number browse performance in OPAC and clients can be slow (e.g., 10-15 seconds or longer response time) for some servers upgraded to Voyager 10.2. 

    Affects CALL+ and other call number index browses (MOTH+, MSUD+, etc.) in the OPAC.

    Affects Mfhd Call Number, Mfhd LC Classification Number, and other call number index browses (MOTH, MLC#, etc.) in the clients.

    Defect Status

    VYG-7660 is in Development.

    Replication Steps

    1. In OPAC set up CALL+ (call number browse) in webvoyage.properties (example code follows):

    page.search.basic.search.code.callNumberBrowse=
    page.search.basic.search.code.callNumberBrowse.code=CALL+
    page.search.basic.search.code.callNumberBrowse.order=9
    page.search.basic.search.code.callNumberBrowse.display=Call Number Browse
     

     

    1. In the cataloging client use Search > Index Selection > Mfhd Call Number > Browse
