Symptoms

When editing a search string that contains an ampersand, the ampersand and the following search terms disappear.

Defect Status

Issue 16384-7426 is resolved for Voyager 8.1.1 and higher.

Replication Steps

1. Bring up a session of Tomcat WebVoyage
2. Do a keyword search for Antony & Cleopatra
3. Two results are shown
4. Click the “edit search” button
5. The search box will only contain the word “Antony”

Workaround

Retype the ampersand and following search terms.
