360 Link: Target Linking-Syntax ("Linker") Request Process

    • Product: 360 Link

What is the process for requesting a new target linking-syntax ('linker') for 360 Link?

360 Link provides your library with hundreds of OpenURL target linking-syntaxes (also known as "linkers") for providing access to your electronic collection. However, there are some databases for which Serials Solutions has not yet developed a linker.
(See here for a complete list of current linkers. If the linker is already on that list but isn't working for your patrons, report a broken linker.)
To request that we develop a new linker:

Please use the Support Portal (accessible from the More Sites drop-down menu above) to submit a Case.

There are additional fields on the form, filling out as much provider information as you have is appreciated. At a minimum we do please need a Provider Name, Database Name, and Database URL.

ProQuest's staff will respond to you soon acknowledging your request. The request will then be put into our development queue for prioritization.
