    Problems with sending EDI orders

    Problem Symptoms:
    Following problems appear when ordering via EDI when sending the EDI file:

    1) The ISBN is not transferred, Instead the ISBN is by default preceded by a useless character and therefore can not be translated.

    Example of wrong ISBN in EDI sent file:
    <z68-isbn>Y9780199236107 (pbk.</z68-isbn>

    2) Message "Failed to read reply" when sending an order. After clicking "Ok" it seems as if the order was sent but it does not reach the vendor.

    Cause:

    Resolution:
    This problem is solved with rep_change 2558 (Aleph 21) and 3838 (Aleph 20):

    Description: ACQ - in certain circumstances, the system failed to send an EDI order.
