    Description

Answer of Aleph X-service for item-data ends prematurely with invalid XML. This is due to large amount of items.

    Resolution

The X-Service item-data is indeed not meant to display info for docs having more than 1000 items. For this we developed item-data-multi. However there was a smaller problem which was fixed with rep_change #2655 in Aleph 21:

Description: Item-data-multi X-Service: When the record has more than 990 items, an invalid XML was returned.

The service brings items by groups of 990 items. Due to technical limitations, it can only return up to 989 items per group.

Solution: This has been corrected. Now the items are displayed by groups of 989 items and a valid XML is returned.
