Borrowing request gets status “Received – not for loan”, RS Loans can't be renewed with error "the Due Date of 1 out of 1 loan’s failed to be changed"; Receiving items get error: "Item cannot be loaned to patron - insufficient due date"
Question
When receiving a borrowing request, it is not possible to select a status. The status set by the system is “Received – not for loan” although the item is loanable. Or, When receiving borrowed resource-sharing items from the partner, get the error message: "Item cannot be loaned to patron - insufficient due date".
In another situation, Resource Sharing loans can't be renewed (such as Lending requests handled in WorldShare). The error is: "The Due Date of 1 out of 1 loan’s failed to be changed".
Answer
These errors were due to the expiration of the Opening Hours of the Resource Sharing Library. The solution is to edit the "Standard Opening Hours" at the Resource Sharing Library. Remember to "Apply Changes" after this change.
