Error "Failed to create work order to Acquisition Department" when adding a brief resource in Alma (quick cataloging)

Question
When clicking "Add Physical Item" under Resources and saving - an error is seen: "Failed to create work order to Acquisition Department." This happens for items in one Location or Library, but not another.
Answer
In one case, what helped is to mark the "Circulation Desk" as "Primary".
The steps:
- Configuration > Change to be at: <The Specific Library for which the problem is experienced>
- Fulfillment > Circulation Desks
- Click the Default Circulation Desk
- Click the "Primary" flag and save
In another situation, what helped was to add the new Location to the Circulation Desk:
The steps:
- Configuration > Change to be at: <The Specific Library for which the problem is experienced>
- Fulfillment > Locations > Physical Locations
- Find the new Location > Edit
- Click to “Attach existing Circulation Desk”
It might also help to add the "Picks from Shelf" setting to the Circulation Desk:
The steps:
- Configuration > Change to be at: <The Specific Library for which the problem is experienced>
- Fulfillment > Circulation Desks
- Edit the Primary Circulation Desk
- Check the "Picks from Shelf" setting and save
Additional Information
The reason is as follows:
An Acquisition Technical Services work order is also created when you complete this process. For an in-depth overview of work orders, see Configuring Work Orders. To manually create a Work Order see Creating Work Orders for Loans.
Note that Alma does not submit a request for the item to be picked from the shelf, since the item is going out on a loan. It will be going into work order when it returns.
