Question

The Standard Opening Hours for a Monday is valid to May 16, 2024. How do you extend a library's Standard Opening Hours to the future?

Answer

There is no need to delete and create new Standard Opening Hours. In the configuration menu, set the scope to the library level. For the day in question, in this case Monday, go to Actions > Edit and click Save without making changes. The "Valid to" date will be extended 3 years from the current date. Each entry needs to be updated in this way.

Additional Information

Online Help for Configuring Institution/Library Open Hours.

By exporting the calendar to Excel and importing it again, you can define "valid to" dates that are more than 3 years in the future.
