What determines Material Type in Titles repository search results list?

What determines the Material Type of a bib record in a Titles repository search results list?

The display in Alma is based on the bibliographic record's leader and 007 information.

For example, LDR Position 6 = a, Position 7 = a or c or d or m, the Alma Bibliographic Material is "BK", and Alma Material Type Term is "Book".
