Question

What do I need to do to prepare for Alma Analytics OBI upgrade from OBI11/OBI12 to OAS?

Answer

Everything in My Folders will not migrate to the new OAS. Every staff member needs to copy their individual My Folders to Shared Folders/[INSTITUTION FOLDER] to access reports and dashboards after migration. Action needs to be taken before your environment receives the update based on the rollout plan for OAS.

1. Open Analytics > Catalog

2. Navigate to Shared Folders/[YOUR INSTITUTION]/Reports > Click New icon on top left

3. Create a new Folder

4. Name the folder so you can identify it later, ex. [NAME My Folders]
