This page provides a monthly breakdown of planned NDE UI releases, highlighting upcoming features and enhancements through the end of 2025. It is designed to offer transparency, helping you track feature availability and plan your NDE evaluation and adoption accordingly.

This page will elaborate on known issues and provide status updates as they are resolved, in addition to the release plan.

Monthly Release Plan

The release plan includes additional functionalities for the last half of this year, including new features (marked as New), delivery of existing Primo VE functionalities, and cross-product integrations (such as Leganto, Rapido, and so forth).

As of the February 2026 release, we will transition to quarterly release cycles to align with the Alma release schedule.

Consortia-Related Release Plan

With the General Release, any consortium member can start testing the NDE UI like any other institution. Members will see the following elements of search scopes: consortia and cross-institution search scopes, CDI, local data and external sources. In addition, they will see cross-institution facets.

Below is a breakdown of features available after the General Release, according to the monthly release schedule.

Accessibility Plan

As part of our ongoing commitment to compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level A and AA, two accessibility audit rounds were conducted for the NDE UI in 2025. For more details, see the full Accessibility Compliance Report for NDE UI (VPAT 2.5 and WCAG 2.2) and NDE UI Accessability Statement.

In the upcoming year, we plan to:

Address the issues identified in these audits, along with additional findings from customer feedback and internal testing
Share and update the status of the identified issues in the Known Issues Portal
Conduct an additional audit in Q2 2026 to review enhancements delivered after the NDE UI General Release (Nov 2025) and validate the resolution of reported issues
Update the VPAT based on audit findings
Enrich accessibility customization guidelines
