Managing Local Risk Identifiers

Managing Local Risk identifiers

You can add and edit local risk identifiers.
To view or edit risk identifiers for the format, click the Risk Identifiers tab in the local format library. Risk identifiers are displayed in a table below the tabs.

Editing Risk Identifiers
The following information is displayed:
List of Risk Identifiers
Field Description
Active Click to activate / deactivate the risk identifier
Risk Name The name of the risk identifier
Risk Identifier A description of the risk identifier
Risk Type Whether the risk is based on a property of the format or the tool used with the format
Risk Source Indicates if the source of the risk is global or local
To add a new risk identifier:
  1. Click Add Risk Identifier. The Risk General Details page opens.

Adding Risk Identifiers
  1. Fill in the fields according to the following table
    Add Risk Identifier
    Field Description
    Name The name of the risk identifier
    Risk Identifier A description of the risk identifier
    Risk Type Whether the risk is based on a property of the format or the tool used with the format
    Format The format with which the risk is identified
    Plug-in The plug-in used to extract the metadata of the Object. Can be selected only if Risk Type=Tool Driven.
    Review Date The date of the risk review
  1. Click Save.
  2. Click the Risk Parameter tab. The following window is displayed:

Adding Risk Parameters
  1. Select a Characteristic from the drop-down list. (Characteristics are defined in the Related Properties tab of the Classification Groups Library. See Editing Related Properties for more information.)
  2. Select an Operator from the drop-down list.
  3. Type a Parameter in the Parameter text box.
  4. Click Add Criterion.
  5. Click Save.
    The risk identifier is defined for the format.
To add related formats to a risk identifier:
  1. Click the Related Formats tab when adding a risk identifier. The list of formats linked to the risk identifier is displayed:

  1. To add formats to the risk identifier, click Add Format. The following is displayed:

List of Formats
  1. Select one or multiple formats.
  2. Click Link to link the formats to the risk identifier.
    The formats are linked to risk identifier.
  3. Click Save.
To edit a risk identifier:
  1. In the List of Risk Identifiers, click Edit in the row of the risk identifier you want to edit. Rosetta displays risk identifier information for that row.
  2. Edit the information. Use the information in the table above if you have questions about the fields.
  3. Click the Save button to save changes, Cancel to leave the page without committing changes.
  4. If you want to change the information click Remove and add new information.
  5. Click Add Criterion.
  6. Click Save.
To add an existing risk identifier:
  1. Click Add Existing Risk Identifier. The risk identifiers list opens.
  2. Select the risk identifiers that you want to add to the format and click Link.
  3. The risk identifiers are added to the format.
