    Question

Receive "Too many duplicates found for an index" error when loading records via Bulk Import.

    Answer

One of the indexes used for duplicate detection is encountering too many duplicates when the records are imported.

In other words, many or all of the records you are trying to import have the same value in a field being used for deduping.

Check to make sure your incoming records' fields related to those indexes do not have duplicate data.

This can sometimes occur when Voyager creates the 035 from the incoming record's 003 and 001.
