    Problem Symptoms

    • Submit BulkImport via WebAdmin with "Delete holdings records matched in import file" checked and successfully sends job to server
    • Import process never begins and no log.imp* file created

    Cause

Both "Delete holdings records matched in import file" and "Import file has interleaved bib and holdings records" are checked. Parameters are mutually exclusive.

    Resolution

Do not check "Import file has interleaved bib and holdings records" when submitting import to delete holdings via WebAdmin

    Additional Information

At command line, if use -r ("Delete holdings records matched in import file") and -m ("Import file has interleaved bib and holdings records") together, prints message to screen: "Load MFHD and delete MFHD switches cannot be used together" and does not start import process/create log file.
