    Symptoms

When linking course reserves list to courses in Voyager Circulation the client crashes with this message: "Run-time error 381: Invalid property array index"

    Replication Steps

    1. Login to the Voyager Circulation client
    2. Select a desk
    3. Click Reserve icon in menu bar
    4. Search for a list by instructor, etc. and pick one
    5. Right-click to link course

After a pause (normal), the client crashes before getting to the selection ("combo") box.  There is no information in the log.voyager file or in VACSDebug.

    Defect Status

Issue VYG-7618 will not be fixed.

    Workaround

The number of entries in the Microsoft combo box is limited to 32,768.  Do not allow number of rows in Department or other related tables used in the "combo" box (Instructor, Sections, Courses) to reach that maximum number of entries.

    Additional Information

See: Delete instructor name, course, department or section from Voyager Course Reserves
