    Description

The message "Remote File Error (global -91) Unable to open local file?" is received in the GUI.

    Resolution

    1. If the problem occurs on just one particular PC or just certain PCs, then it is likely an administrator permissions problem. (See Resolution below.) (This is the most common cause.)

    2. If the error occurs on *all* PCs, then it is probably a problem with a particular file.

For Cause 1. Have IT department set up PC's AL500 directory with full write access to the AL500 directory tree?

For Cause 2. Which file is involved depends on the function. See examples in Additional Information.
