Knowledge Acceleration Program - Cycle 6

These live sessions will focus on various topics that libraries often request to help them optimize Alma during their first year of production. Each session includes 60 minutes of instruction delivered by our Training Services team.

E-Resource Management | This session reviews how to create and manage local e-resources, and maintain your libraries' e-resources. The My Electronic Collections by Provider tool will be demonstrated, which helps you ensure that the electronic collections to which you subscribe from specific vendors are accurately configured in Alma. Finally, common post-migration clean-up tasks are examined. |

Central Discovery Index (CDI) and Discovery |
This session explains how the Central Discovery Index (CDI) is populated and how results from the CDI appear in your institution’s discovery search results. Other topics include configuration options that determine the availability flag in discovery, what the EasyActive setting does, and look at troubleshooting common search scenarios.

Introduction to Analytics |
This session is an introduction to working in Alma Analytics. First up is a review of the Oracle Analytic Server (OAS) environment and organization. How to review and modify out-of-the-box analyses, create a new analysis from scratch, and share results will be demonstrated. |
