Which database status should I select?
The status you set for each database should reflect the resource s status in your library s collection. See the table below for the status choices.
Except for the status Not Tracked, all statuses have the same functionality as Subscribed: The database and its titles can be visible to your users in your discovery services (except for 360 Search -- see below). The only ways to remove a database and its titles from being accessible to patrons is to either set the status to Not Tracked -- which removes the database entirely from your library profile -- or to uncheck the Display In check boxes for the appropriate discovery services on the Database Details page. (It can take as long as a day to be completely removed from those services.)
If you want the database to display in 360 Search, you will need to change the Display In checkbox and configure the connector.

Subscribed |
This status sets the database to be tracked in your Intota profile. The contents of the database will be visible to patrons unless you uncheck the Display In checkbox for each service. They will be visible in patron-facing services (such as the E-Journal Portal) the following day, after the daily profile data refresh. |

Not Tracked |
The database will no longer appear on your list of subscribed databases in Intota. It will be removed from patron-facing services (such as the E-Journal Portal) the following day, after the daily profile data refresh. |

Under Review |
Under Review is a notation status only; it has no other effect within ProQuest's discovery services. The contents of the database will be visible to patrons unless you uncheck the Display In checkbox for each service. |

From Consortium |
From Consortium is a notation status only; it has no other effect within ProQuest's discovery services. The contents of the database will be visible to patrons unless you uncheck the Display In checkbox for each service. When a consortium shares a database with you, the database will automatically get this status; you can also manually change a database to this status to note that it comes from a consortium. Regardless, patrons will not have any indication that it comes from a consortium. |

Trial |
More statuses that are notation statuses only; they have no other effect within ProQuest's discovery services. They are considered to be customized variations of the Subscribed status. The definition of these statuses is subject to interpretation; each library can use and define them as they see fit. The contents of the database will be visible to patrons unless you uncheck the Display In checkbox for each service. |

A library can create their own statuses for internal processes, using the Menu tool. However, they will all be notation statuses only; they have no other effect within ProQuest's discovery services. The contents of the database will be visible to patrons unless you uncheck the Display In checkbox for each service. |
